Pickleball Elective
New for this year’s elective lineup: Pickleball! 🥒 This fast-paced sport isn’t just taking the region, but New School by storm, and we’ve got a squad of dedicated students diving into the action. From drilling techniques to heated matches against each other and expert guest coaches, our pickleball enthusiasts are making a racquet at multiple courts across the area.
Fun was had by all in our final tournament day of the Fall session, where our “Super Pickles” were recognized—the stand-out players who met each match, drill, and opponent with positivity and sportsmanship, along with our tournament superstar winners. 🌟 A huge thanks to The @gorgepickleballassociation for donating a full set of paddles and balls for our emerging players. ✨ Whether students are seasoned pros or just getting started, Pickleball at New School was a court-slamming good time!
