Come Visit Us!

Prospective students and their families interested in the 2022-2023 school year are invited to visit Hood River New School on February 22 and March 14th from 5:30-6:30 pm. We are delighted to offer families the opportunity to meet with teachers, tour our school, and learn more about what makes the New School experience unique.

Open House groups will be kept small with masks required. We’re also happy to accommodate those families that are not yet comfortable attending in-person events by offering a virtual tour.

New School is also hosting “Shadow Days” for prospective students on the afternoons of February 10th, February 24th, and March 17th. Students will have the opportunity to meet current New School students, sit in on classes, and participate in discussions to see if New School might be a good fit for them.

All families are highly encouraged to watch our introduction video prior to attending. Please email us for access to this fabulous video presentation! Our Video Presentation gives viewers an overview of our program, our academic philosophy. Families will be walked through a typical day, see student work, learn about our plethora of enrichment opportunities, and hear about what the transition to high school looks like for New School graduates.
