Boat Races!

Hood River New School students celebrated the launch of a Mark Rober-inspired engineering design unit with a team boat-building challenge. Students had three hours to design, build, and race boats across the Hood River Aquatic Center pool, using only cardboard, duct tape, and a box cutter. While some boards proved more Titanic than seaworthy, everyone had fun and learned a lot!
