The Founding Circle

The Founding Circle is a collective of individuals, families, and organizations who have come together in a shared vision of support for Hood River New School and its mission to empower critical thinkers to approach the world with intellectual curiosity. We cultivate learners who understand personal responsibility and accountability. We foster independent reasoning and collaboration so that students learn to empathize with the people around them and the world in which they live.

Gifts to Hood River New School’s Founding Circle directly support start-up expenses, future facilities growth and improvements, expansion of classroom resources, professional development opportunities for staff, and our flexible tuition program to promote diversity and inclusion in our student body by providing access to more students regardless of their financial means.
