Prestigious Silver Key Awarded to New School student!

We're delighted to share the exciting news of four New School students who have been recognized in this year's Scholastic Art & Writing Awards! In its remarkable 101st year, the Scholastic Awards stand as the nation's oldest and most esteemed scholarship and recognition program for young artists and writers in grades 7–12. Since 1923, the Awards have recognized some of Americas most celebrated artists and writers while they were teenagers, including Stephen King, Amanda Gorman, Charles White, Joyce Carol Oates, and Andy Warhol.

We are proud to count our students among these esteemed Scholastic Awards alumni!

Join us in applauding Daisy Jones, Liv Sommerset, Kiah Dienberg, and Fiona Althoff for their outstanding achievements! Daisy, Liv, and Kiah received Honorable Mentions, while Fiona secured a prestigious Silver Key in the regional competition spanning the western United States.

These Awards aren't just accolades—they're stepping stones towards future success. They open doors to scholarship programs, workshops, and opportunities for publication and exhibition at regional and national levels.

Congratulations to these talented writers! Your dedication and creativity have earned you well-deserved recognition.
